In response to numerous community complaints, Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation at Happy Foot Spa in East Northport, located on Larkfield Road, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3.
Erying Tang, age 61, and Xiaohua Xiong, age 58, both of Flushing, Queens, were charged with:
- Prostitution,
- Unauthorized practice of a profession.
Both women were released on desk appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday, Oct. 23.
The operation was conducted by police in conjunction with officials from the Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Code Enforcement offices.
